Red Clay

Red Clay is a media organization that assembles student works of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and art in a literary magazine.

PLEASE NOTE: This semester there will be a senior issue and the submission deadline is October 2. The regular all-campus issue will come out in the spring and the submissions will be due around mid to late February.

Guidelines for Creative Writing Submissions

All submissions should be sent electronically to redclaysbc @ gmail.com. Paper submissions will NOT be accepted.

Submissions should be attached to your email in a .wpd, .doc, or another compatible format. We also appreciate: a standard Times New Roman font in 12 pt, double-spacing, and 1 inch margins.

Please include the following information in the text of your email ONLY.

Name (as you want it to be printed)
Email (where we can best reach you)
Extension or Cell Phone Number
Titles of Works (please be sure that file names and the titles correspond!)

**Due to the nature of this issue, we would like to have equivalent representation for all contributors.

If you are submitting POETRY, please submit 3-5 poems. If you are submitting FICTION or NON-FICTION please submit no more than 25 double-spaced pages. If you work in multiple genres, please submit no more than 30 double-spaced pages.


Guidelines for Art Submissions

All submissions should be sent electronically to redclaysbc @ gmail.com. Paper submissions will NOT be accepted.

Submissions should be standard PC-compatible formats ONLY. We prefer high quality resolutions.

Please include the following information in the text of your email.

Email (where we can best reach you)
Extension
Titles of Works (please be sure that file names and the titles correspond!)

**Please send us no more than 5 pieces.
