I'm interested in books that investigate personal and national conscience, voluntary poverty, bohemianism and spirituality. Somehow all these things are wrapped up together for me. Just how they're connected is the topic of the book I'm currently working on, which is tentatively titled either Any Poorer Than Dead or The Death of Awesome.
