John T. Casteen: More About Me
John Casteen teaches poetry and composition and coordinates the Sweet Briar Undergraduate Creative Writing Conference. His poems appear in literary magazines and in The Best American Poetry 2008. He has also written essays on environmental policy, gun policy, professional ethics, and literary criticism for Slate.com, The Washington Post, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and The Virginia Quarterly Review, where he serves on the editorial staff.
His book of poems, Free Union, will be published in spring 2009 by The University of Georgia Press.
